Wonderful family memories!

Our family visited (myself, my husband, our daughter, and both grandmas), and we had a magical time at 12 Stones Farm! The cabin was so quaint and cozy- and so clean! It was stocked with everything we needed to cook, play, and relax. We loved all the board games and outdoor games! And we took full advantage of everything the farm offered- hot tub, fire pit, fishing, kayaks, paddle boat, hammock, screened in porch, and playing in the creek. We enjoyed quiet morning walks and afternoons reading in the hammock. We spent our days playing in the creek and fishing. Hope and Eric (and their dog Crackerjack!) were the best part of the farm. They taught us how to do all the farm chores like milking cows, bottle feeding calves, gathering eggs (chicken, turkey and duck) and gardening. Our daughter loved doing chores twice a day and interacting with both Hope and Eric and the animals. Their store was great, too with cane poles to use for fishing, boat, fresh milk and eggs, and some farm trinkets to take home. We can’t wait to go back. It was the perfect getaway for our family!

Our favorite getaway

This was our 3rd visit to the farm and it was amazing as always!!! It’s private and beautiful and so peaceful. Hope and Eric are so welcoming!!! Our 2 kids (9 and 12) absolutely hate to leave. They love helping with the chores each morning and evening and then playing/fishing/exploring all day. We cannot wait to go back – at this point it feels like visiting family.

Great for the whole family

I accompanied my daughter and her family for another vacation at 12 Stones Guest Farm. It is such a welcoming place and a well-equiped cottage. The decorating shows Eric and Hope’s attention to every detail. My daughter’s husband, mother-in-law, and son enjoyed the fishing and swimming. Luke, my grandson, loves to help with the farm chores. My daughter and I worked on some crafts together. We took turns cooking and cleaning up. There are games for family fun and many books to enjoy. There was a bonfire one night with delicious Smores. We loved the duck procession that waddled by the front porch several times a day. We were treated to a tour of the new “tiny house” on the property. It is an adorable place suitable for honeymooners or grandparents. 12 Stones Guest Farm is truly a slice of heaven on earth. Thank you, Hope and Eric! We hope to be back again next year.

Making forever memories with our kids

We had so much fun on this trip! We enjoyed kayaking, the paddle boat, creek fun, fishing, and farm animals. They loved their daily chores and Eric and Hope were fantastic with the kids. Not to mention fire pit and hot tub at night. ✨ I’d highly recommend this place, the kids didn’t want to leave, next time we’re planning on staying longer. It’s a great way to get some quality family time. πŸ’™πŸ”πŸ„πŸ’™

Welcome, welcome, welcome!!

Yes, the cabin is great, and yes, it is so quiet and serene here, but to me the overwhelming impression is the hospitality Eric and Hope give to ;their guests. We spent the middle week of June 2020 here with our son’, his wife, and 5 kids. Everyone had a great time. The children ranging in age from 18 to 5 loved the creek, the farm, even the chores. Hope and Eric were so patient with our-no farm experience-grandkids. This is in addition to the fresh milk, duck eggs(just try ’em), and the delicious beef offered for sale. You can fish, swim, or go kayaking. We built a fire each evening and just enjoyed each other’s company. There was a concern that there were too many of us to be there together, but the Bright’s did their magic and made it work. Hope and Eric, if you see this, thanks again for the vacation our son called the best he ever had. Us, too.

Perfect for curious kids and to just get away from it all

My daughters and I visited in April of 2018. We had an amazing time. Of course the kids love the bungalow bed. The bedroom is very nice as well and with the jacuzzi right outside of it. Eric and Hope give you as much solitude as you need, but my daughters really wanted to see all the animals, so we helped with all the farm chores and learned a lot. The water was a bit too cold to enjoy in late April, but we look forward to going back again and taking a good soak in the creek with all the fun toys that are available! I would highly recommend this to families or couples, it’s a great place to get away from it all and regenerate. (My reservation was through AirBnB, i wish I’d known we could reserve directly at that time).

Relaxing and peaceful!

My husband and I loved our stay at 12 Stones Farm! The cabin is so charming and peaceful. Hope and Eric are very friendly. I loved hearing about farm life from them, and accompanying Hope as she gathered eggs, which I had never done before. We had to change our reservation at the last minute because we couldn’t come on Thursday night. Hope and Eric sweetly offered to let us stay on Sunday night instead of Thursday, which was so thoughtful of them. We had never tasted fresh milk before and the milk and eggs in the refrigerator were a nice surprise!

Our stay couldn't have been more perfect!

For five adults, husband & wife, wife’s 2 adult sons and one girlfriend, 12 Stones Guest Farm was the perfect place to relax, spend time together and have loads of fun. We delightfully felt no need not leave the farm during our stay to find activities or entertainment or food elsewhere. There was no way to do all the myriad of available activities we could have at 12 Stones Farm. Eric and Hope are absolutely wonderful hosts. The guest cabin was so comfortable. The country quiet and fresh air put us into deep sleep every night. We loved having the time to read books and take naps if we wished. Fresh-picked blackberries made the perfect blackberry cobbler. All needed ingredients were in the kitchen. We laughed our way through croquet, some having never played the game. The provided ingredients for s’mores were delightfully consumed after roasting marsh mellows over the camp fire. We “helped” the milk cows and bucket calves and gathered eggs. What a treat it was to have real, fresh cream for our coffee. None of us had fishing experience, but two of us had fun trying and were delighted to catch and release two willing fish. All of us felt so blessed to be in such a relaxing place. We will be staying at 12 Stones Farm again, hopefully soon.

Total Relaxation

12 Stones Farm is a piece of Heaven on Earth! The guest house is clean, comfy and had everything you could want for a relaxing getaway. We enjoyed the hot tub, outside shower and screened in porch daily. The creek is a sight to see! The water so clean and the sound of it moving so peaceful. The farm animals were fun to watch and listen to. We enjoyed our fresh eggs, milk and zucchini that Eric and Hope shared with us. They truly love what they are doing and it shows. 12 Stones Farm is a wonderful place to stay!!

A cozy cabin on a working family farm with doting hosts and quick access to Branson.

My family and I were looking for a unique Branson experience for our 3 and 4 year old sons, and we found that and more with Eric and Hope’s 12 Stones Farm. If you are looking for a unique family vacation or get away for two, I highly recommend this quiet slice of God’s Country. Situated on 35 acres, there is plenty of space to explore and enjoy. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen with complimentary eggs and milk (from the farm of course). There are plenty of board games for inside days or outside games like; frisbee golf, croquet, lawn darts, horse shoes, paddle boat and tons of balls to toss around. The 1/4 mile of private access to Swan Creek is awesome for a kayak float trip or a dip to cool off. Pro Tips: – Leave your phone on airplane mode. – Use bug spray liberally if you are walking around the farm. – Chore with the hosts in the morning and/or evening. Our kids love it! – Bring your own laundry detergent. – Bring water socks for the creek. – Amazing bird watching at the large living room window. Nice to Know: – Good cell service available but no Wi-Fi My Favorite Thing: – Waking up early while everyone is sleeping and sitting out on the screen porch sipping my coffee. A truly peaceful beginning to the day.
