Nature at it's finest
I stumbled upon this place on VRBO and I’m so happy I did. We stayed for a 3 day holiday weekend to stay away from the crowds. This farm is quiet solitude at Maybels cabin just perfect for a couple. Hosts are friendly and generous with farm fresh eggs and raw milk. Farm animals abound. There are homemade products and farm raised beef for sale in the mercantile store.
The best part is the easy access to a pristine Swan Creek perfect for fishing wading and swimming. Cool and clear but not freezing lol.
I can’t give this place enough stars!

I took a walk-through today…
The guest house is beautiful. It sits on the banks of Swan Creek on a beautiful farm, and is extremely peaceful and picturesque. The lodging is decorated in an eclectic country style with scads of individual props and decorations, on which to feast your eyes. The house is large and roomy and extremely well outfitted, even to the inclusion of a screened in porch, barbecue area, laundry facilities and hot tub. Although I have not personally stayed here, I am very impressed with this lodging and will recommend it to my friends who come to visit the Branson area. BTW, The proprietors, Hope and Eric are a delight!

Exactly what we needed
We can with two eleven year old boys and my wife. No television and no wifi is exactly what the boys needed. They weren’t even thinking about electronics while they were helping milk cows and feed baby calves. Paddle boating, walking the creek and nights in the hot tub listening the birds will help even the busiest of people forget about the stresses of life. It was a true blessing spending the weekend at 12 Stones. Hope and Eric have a created a ministry all their own and allow others to share in the beauty that God created on this little farm. We are already planning a return trip at the request of the two boys that didn’t know life existed outside of electronics!!

Just book it!
Simply out- heaven on Earth! Sitting outside, listening to the beautiful sounds of Swan Creek to bird watching out the picture window to relaxing in the spa to walking down the old Stagecoach Road- you cannot find a better place to be! The cabin is so comfortable and cozy and so well stocked! Hope and Eric are the most genuine and caring people you’ll ever meet. Every detail is so well thought out. They truly want their guests to enjoy! Thank you, Hope and Eric, for sharing your little slice of Heaven!

Nice Escape
My husband and I visited 12 Stones last fall (2020) for our anniversary and had a wonderful time. The proximity to Branson, allows you to enjoy the city, but escape to the country. Hope and Eric have created such a nice escape, and Eric was even working on the finishing touches to their newest (small cabin) addition while we were there. The cabin was just what we needed, with no distractions; just the ability to focus on our time together and God’s country. We were able to take strolls around their property, fish in the creek, and hangout with the dairy cows, turkeys and chickens. The fresh milk and eggs every morning was such a nice treat, and we even bought some goodies from the Mercantile store to take home. We can’t wait until we can return.

Great escape from everyday life
The sights & sounds of Branson were okay. The sights & sounds of 12 Stones Farm were fantastic! Our experience as a family of five (three daughters – ages 12, 14 and 17) was that this has been the most relaxing family vacation we’ve had to date. The cabin felt like home and had everything we needed. There were lots of games and we even got our 17-year old to play a few with us! There were also all the fixing’ to make s’mores over the campfire! Swan Creek was breathtaking – we spent several hours in it. Hope & Eric welcomed us like we were family they hadn’t seen in a while. We loved helping with the animals and it was a privilege to get to work alongside Hope & Eric. They are, no doubt, salt-of-the-earth, God-fearing individuals. We are so grateful they have chosen to share their property and kindness with us! I’m a 40-year old married mother of three and I cried when we left the farm. Guess I wasn’t quite ready to get back to the grind of everyday life. Definitely planning to visit Hope & Eric again!

Don't pass on this amazing opportunity!!
This place is a gem. Hope and Eric do everything right in making their guests feel extremely comfortable and welcome in their beautiful slice of heaven. This was by far the best family vacation we’ve ever taken. The activities are endless! There are card games, board games, yard games, books, and magazines galore. The creek provides fishing, swimming and minnow catching! We never missed a chance to help milk the cows, gather eggs, feed the cats and play with Cracker Jack the fantastic dog. The cabin is beautifully decorated and fully stocked with all the comforts of home. I can’t say enough about how phenomenal this place is! Book it!

Absolutely Breath Taking
This is a one-in-a-million place, with one-in-a-million host. Eric and Hope are the nicest and most humble people out there. Upon arrival they had left a sincere special touch for us. When you come here you aren’t just getting away from the world, but you are creating a bond with the cabin, the land, the animals and most importantly Eric and Hope. This is a spectacular place with spectacular people with a spectacular cause. We will be going back there. If you are even considering this place, book it now. You wont regret it. They have a little mercantile with their own products and some neighbors. This is truly a place adventure, fun and wonder.

Perfect Getaway for Romantic Weekend or the Entire Family
We just spent an entire week at 12 Stones Farm and couldn’t ask for a better experience! Our family needed a getaway and global pandemic or not, this place has it all. From the incredible hosts to amazing property and more than comfortable accommodations, we had the best time. From fishing to kayaking, floating down the creek, helping around the farm, we never ran out of things to do. Exploring Branson was just a short drive away. Whether you are looking for a couples getaway, a vacation with the kids, or even a girls weekend, Hope and Eric have created the perfect place at 12 Stones Farm. We can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful family memories!
Our family visited (myself, my husband, our daughter, and both grandmas), and we had a magical time at 12 Stones Farm! The cabin was so quaint and cozy- and so clean! It was stocked with everything we needed to cook, play, and relax. We loved all the board games and outdoor games! And we took full advantage of everything the farm offered- hot tub, fire pit, fishing, kayaks, paddle boat, hammock, screened in porch, and playing in the creek. We enjoyed quiet morning walks and afternoons reading in the hammock. We spent our days playing in the creek and fishing. Hope and Eric (and their dog Crackerjack!) were the best part of the farm. They taught us how to do all the farm chores like milking cows, bottle feeding calves, gathering eggs (chicken, turkey and duck) and gardening. Our daughter loved doing chores twice a day and interacting with both Hope and Eric and the animals. Their store was great, too with cane poles to use for fishing, boat, fresh milk and eggs, and some farm trinkets to take home. We can’t wait to go back. It was the perfect getaway for our family!

Our favorite getaway
This was our 3rd visit to the farm and it was amazing as always!!! It’s private and beautiful and so peaceful. Hope and Eric are so welcoming!!! Our 2 kids (9 and 12) absolutely hate to leave. They love helping with the chores each morning and evening and then playing/fishing/exploring all day. We cannot wait to go back – at this point it feels like visiting family.

Great for the whole family
I accompanied my daughter and her family for another vacation at 12 Stones Guest Farm. It is such a welcoming place and a well-equiped cottage. The decorating shows Eric and Hope’s attention to every detail. My daughter’s husband, mother-in-law, and son enjoyed the fishing and swimming. Luke, my grandson, loves to help with the farm chores. My daughter and I worked on some crafts together. We took turns cooking and cleaning up. There are games for family fun and many books to enjoy. There was a bonfire one night with delicious Smores. We loved the duck procession that waddled by the front porch several times a day. We were treated to a tour of the new “tiny house” on the property. It is an adorable place suitable for honeymooners or grandparents. 12 Stones Guest Farm is truly a slice of heaven on earth.
Thank you, Hope and Eric! We hope to be back again next year.

Making forever memories with our kids
We had so much fun on this trip! We enjoyed kayaking, the paddle boat, creek fun, fishing, and farm animals. They loved their daily chores and Eric and Hope were fantastic with the kids. Not to mention fire pit and hot tub at night. ✨ I’d highly recommend this place, the kids didn’t want to leave, next time we’re planning on staying longer. It’s a great way to get some quality family time. 💙🐔🐄💙

Welcome, welcome, welcome!!
Yes, the cabin is great, and yes, it is so quiet and serene here, but to me the overwhelming impression is the hospitality Eric and Hope give to ;their guests. We spent the middle week of June 2020 here with our son’, his wife, and 5 kids. Everyone had a great time. The children ranging in age from 18 to 5 loved the creek, the farm, even the chores. Hope and Eric were so patient with our-no farm experience-grandkids. This is in addition to the fresh milk, duck eggs(just try ’em), and the delicious beef offered for sale. You can fish, swim, or go kayaking. We built a fire each evening and just enjoyed each other’s company. There was a concern that there were too many of us to be there together, but the Bright’s did their magic and made it work. Hope and Eric, if you see this, thanks again for the vacation our son called the best he ever had. Us, too.

Perfect for curious kids and to just get away from it all
My daughters and I visited in April of 2018. We had an amazing time. Of course the kids love the bungalow bed. The bedroom is very nice as well and with the jacuzzi right outside of it. Eric and Hope give you as much solitude as you need, but my daughters really wanted to see all the animals, so we helped with all the farm chores and learned a lot. The water was a bit too cold to enjoy in late April, but we look forward to going back again and taking a good soak in the creek with all the fun toys that are available! I would highly recommend this to families or couples, it’s a great place to get away from it all and regenerate. (My reservation was through AirBnB, i wish I’d known we could reserve directly at that time).

Relaxing and peaceful!
My husband and I loved our stay at 12 Stones Farm! The cabin is so charming and peaceful. Hope and Eric are very friendly. I loved hearing about farm life from them, and accompanying Hope as she gathered eggs, which I had never done before. We had to change our reservation at the last minute because we couldn’t come on Thursday night. Hope and Eric sweetly offered to let us stay on Sunday night instead of Thursday, which was so thoughtful of them. We had never tasted fresh milk before and the milk and eggs in the refrigerator were a nice surprise!

Our stay couldn't have been more perfect!
For five adults, husband & wife, wife’s 2 adult sons and one girlfriend, 12 Stones Guest Farm was the perfect place to relax, spend time together and have loads of fun. We delightfully felt no need not leave the farm during our stay to find activities or entertainment or food elsewhere. There was no way to do all the myriad of available activities we could have at 12 Stones Farm. Eric and Hope are absolutely wonderful hosts. The guest cabin was so comfortable. The country quiet and fresh air put us into deep sleep every night. We loved having the time to read books and take naps if we wished. Fresh-picked blackberries made the perfect blackberry cobbler. All needed ingredients were in the kitchen. We laughed our way through croquet, some having never played the game. The provided ingredients for s’mores were delightfully consumed after roasting marsh mellows over the camp fire. We “helped” the milk cows and bucket calves and gathered eggs. What a treat it was to have real, fresh cream for our coffee. None of us had fishing experience, but two of us had fun trying and were delighted to catch and release two willing fish. All of us felt so blessed to be in such a relaxing place. We will be staying at 12 Stones Farm again, hopefully soon.

Total Relaxation
12 Stones Farm is a piece of Heaven on Earth! The guest house is clean, comfy and had everything you could want for a relaxing getaway. We enjoyed the hot tub, outside shower and screened in porch daily. The creek is a sight to see! The water so clean and the sound of it moving so peaceful. The farm animals were fun to watch and listen to. We enjoyed our fresh eggs, milk and zucchini that Eric and Hope shared with us. They truly love what they are doing and it shows. 12 Stones Farm is a wonderful place to stay!!

A cozy cabin on a working family farm with doting hosts and quick access to Branson.
My family and I were looking for a unique Branson experience for our 3 and 4 year old sons, and we found that and more with Eric and Hope’s 12 Stones Farm. If you are looking for a unique family vacation or get away for two, I highly recommend this quiet slice of God’s Country.
Situated on 35 acres, there is plenty of space to explore and enjoy. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen with complimentary eggs and milk (from the farm of course). There are plenty of board games for inside days or outside games like; frisbee golf, croquet, lawn darts, horse shoes, paddle boat and tons of balls to toss around. The 1/4 mile of private access to Swan Creek is awesome for a kayak float trip or a dip to cool off.
Pro Tips:
– Leave your phone on airplane mode.
– Use bug spray liberally if you are walking around the farm.
– Chore with the hosts in the morning and/or evening. Our kids love it!
– Bring your own laundry detergent.
– Bring water socks for the creek.
– Amazing bird watching at the large living room window.
Nice to Know:
– Good cell service available but no Wi-Fi
My Favorite Thing:
– Waking up early while everyone is sleeping and sitting out on the screen porch sipping my coffee. A truly peaceful beginning to the day.

It felt like home
We cannot say enough about the farm and the time we had there. This place is perfect. Not only was is absolutely lovely, every small details enhances your stay. Everything was honestly perfect. We only went into town to get groceries and just stayed and enjoyed the cabin, outdoors, books, all the games and cool things to do. Hope and Eric have done an amazing job of making sure every little thing is so great. They were easy to communicate with and beyond helpful. Most of our interactions were with Eric, as hope was enjoying family over the holiday weekend, but she was everywhere from the thoughtful touches and seeing her and heart poured into the cabin. When we reflected on the weekend, we decided that our favorite part was seeing their memories and life all around the cabin. It truly was one of the most unique and wonderful Airbnb experiences, it felt like home. My only advice for guests consider booking is to book as long as you can and bring groceries to cook dinner because you honestly will not want to leave. We cannot wait to return with our kids and enjoy!

So beautiful.
We booked on VRBO and couldn’t be happier with our stay. It rained almost our whole stay and it didn’t bother us one bit. The last day we.got to explore the old trail along the water and it made me want to move right on in. So peaceful and serene. We cant wait to come back during warmer months to get in the water. The cabin was so clean and has everything you need. Very grateful that they open up their property and share it with everyone.

Anniversary getaway!
In our desire to find a private get-away to celebrate our anniversary, my wife and I searched to find a cabin near Branson yet far enough away to enjoy some very real peace and quiet and seclusion. What we found at the end of the trail at 12 Stones Farm, far and away exceeded our expectations. Even though we arrived late on a chilly Friday night, Eric had the pellet stove fired up and awaiting our arrival. The cabin is full of surprises and Hope and Eric truly go above and beyond to think of everything to make our stay an experience to remember. We hadn’t been there for more than half a day before we had already started to figure out when we could plan our next trip back. Thanks again for your hospitality Hope & Eric! Hope to see you again soon! Steve & Suzanne

More, please!
What a great place to just get away! Kathy and I stayed here in Sept. 2016, and again Oct.2018. The cabin and grounds are a testament to the extra mile Eric and Hope put in to ensure your stay will be memorable. There are a million little things they do that bear witness to their hands and their hearts. This is a labor of love, and if you stay here, you will see that for yourselves. Everywhere you look, there is that something extra; from the heart log outside, to the heart stones on the window sill. Gotta love the fresh eggs and milk, too. I even found a duck egg-it was delicious! Thank you both for a great time. The guests that stayed part of the week with us would like to return as well.

Awesome family getaway
We loved every minute of our stay. The cabin had everything we needed and was so adorablely decorated. We felt right at home. Our kids jumped up early in the morning beyond excited to help with all of the farm chores. Hope and Eric were so kind, patient, and welcoming. We all fell in love with the farm and can’t wait to go back.

Relaxed and Renewed
Having only heard about the beauty of Missouri, we were excited to see it for ourselves. It did not disappoint! The cabin is situated between an amazing little working farm and a picturesque river. Hope and Eric thought of everything guests might need or want and left no detail undone – including fresh eggs and milk/sweet cream. The location, the cabin, the atmosphere and the hosts were more than we hoped for. Thank you for the opportunity to “Be Still.”

The hosts with servants hearts!
I’ve always been pretty good at putting my thoughts on paper, but there are just some things that prove to be impossible to describe. I will attempt to tell you all about the most beautiful farm I’ve ever visited, graced with the most hospitable hosts, and the warmest and homiest cabin I have had the privilege of sleeping in. 12 Stones Farm, owned and operated by Eric & Hope Bright, had many, many excellent reviews, so my husband and I decided to give it a try. My husband contacted Eric and he was able to accommodate us for ten nights. We (my husband, my best friend, and three of our youngest children ages 4, 6, and 7) arrived at the farm on a Monday morning, almost midday, to the most beautiful landscape accompanied by this wonderful feeling and sigh of relief that this was exactly where we were meant to be. As we drove in past the beautiful pond on the left with two chairs placed ever-so-perfectly on the well-manicured lawn, six ducks waddling right near the driveway, several bee hives nestled behind the pond under a tree, we approached a pasture with a beautiful jersey cow and a few calves, one which was the whitest white and blackest black cow I have ever seen. I’m telling you, everything here is almost surreal. As we rounded the curve, we saw some beautiful chickens and turkeys…..and then, right before our eyes was the quaintest cabin whose pictures had done it no justice. I kept thinking to myself, “is this real life?” The children were giddy with excitement, okay, so maybe the adults were too, so we all jumped out of the truck and entered the cabin to find our rooms. Well, I was actually scoping out the kitchen, but isn’t that what most moms do? We found exactly what we were expecting PLUS much, much more!! We had already figured out the sleeping arrangements, but did not realize exactly how beautiful the cabin was. Every small detail from each framed cross-stitched piece made by Eric’s mom, to antique quilts, crocks, doilies, lamps, piles of games for the kids, rocking chairs facing the picture window with binoculars, mounds of extra pillows, and fresh towels and wash cloths for indoors and outdoors. It was like coming to grandmother’s house. They were even so kind as to leave us a lemonade packet with a pitcher and four glasses, fresh eggs in the fridge, every utensil, cookware, dinnerware, flatware, and spice you need to prepare many meals. Yesssss, there are sharp knives and a cast iron skillet and a blender and cutting boards and casserole dishes. I could go on and on, but I’m sure you understand what I’m getting at, we didn’t want for anything. We cooked many delicious meals during our stay. After getting settled in and taking a five hour nap (we had just traveled for 17 hours) we got up and prepared an early supper and the kids went out to help Eric and Hope with farm chores. What an exciting adventure for the children!! During our stay, the children were able to help round up the cow for milking, gather eggs, pick green beans and blueberries, and Eric even gave the kids the last three strawberries from the garden to enjoy. Over the course of ten days at the cabin we played in the river, sunbathed in the yard, fished in the pond, took many naps, played games (indoor and outdoor) visited with Eric & Hope, and were just able to really enjoy each other. We ate fresh green beans, drank fresh milk, used fresh eggs almost daily (I think we ate 3 dozen) ate fresh honey and even used the cream off the top of the milk for our coffee. We utilized the outdoor games, balls, floats, and table and chairs on the screened porch. I also made great use of the washer and dryer (almost daily). It is apparent that Eric & Hope truly enjoy serving others and their love for the Lord, each other, their farm, and their guests shines through. They were so kind to us and so patient with the children, teaching them so many things about the farm. We left the farm feeling energized, renewed, refreshed and ready to come back to the reality of policing and 9-1-1. We are truly grateful for all that these two did for our family and the quality time spent with family was invaluable. They made us feel so special even though we had never met them before. We will NEVER forget 12 Stones Farm and we hope to return very, very soon!

The experience is one that we will treasure for a long time to come
My sister and I stayed in the cabin over thanksgiving weekend and it was better than we could have hoped for. Hope and Eric took the time to make us feel welcome and ensure were got settled in. They also offered us the opportunity to help milk the cow and collect eggs from the chickens, which was a fun. The Cabin has a fully stocked kitchen and lots of fun board games to play in the evening. The experience is one that we will treasure for a long time to come.

A step back in time- to 'The Good Ol Days'
A lovely respite from a fast paced life! Quaint, cozy, detail perfection!! And… the beds/pillows were so comfy-reminded me of days gone by under quilts at Grandma’s house! Add to that a hot soak in the hot tub right off the bedroom- can’t think of anything better. Hope to return one day for another dose of amazing! 😉 Thanks Hope & Eric for sharing your idealic spot!

Hope and Eric were fantastic hosts
Pictures don’t do this charming little place justice. Hope and Eric were fantastic hosts, providing us with fresh milk and eggs every morning, and quick to respond if we had need of anything. This relaxing stay will leave you feeling relaxed and refreshed, and we would highly recommend this stay to anyone who is traveling, or anyone simply wanting a weekend away. We will definitely be back again!
Michael
We will definitely be back!
I cannot even begin to find the words to describe our experience. The cabin is absolutely beautiful and they go above and beyond in all the details put in to it. You will be surprised at all the extras they have at the cabin if you need it! The farm was breathtaking. It was so great to come to the cabin after a long day out in the bustle of Branson. We will definitely be back!

Awesome Experience
What an AMAZING place! It was more than we expected. Eric and Hope did a fantastic job of making sure we felt welcomed and had everything we needed. My husband and I took our 4 teens with us and thought they were going to go mad without internet and tv, but we were totally wrong. We had things planned each day in Branson but the kids didn’t want to leave the Farm Cabin so we spent our days there. We kayaked even though the water was freezing, it just meant that we needed to keep our balance so we didn’t fall out of the kayak…kinda added to the excitement. We loved the fire ring which was perfect for smores and roasting hot dogs. The yard games were so much fun. It was great to learn about farm life and the animals. Everyone loved the hot tub. The kitchen was very well equipped for not only cooking meals but also baking. The beds in the loft are truly meant for children as an adult isn’t able to stand in the loft area. The kids (teens) thought it was really cool. The shower was very nice. There were lots of games that we could play which made for some great family time with lots of laughs. Overall, this place was just fantastic. We didn’t want to leave and plan to visit again in a summer coming up soon!
Raegan
We will definitely be back!
This was a great stay. The farm is huge and has everything you need. We enjoyed the creek in the morning, made a fire in the afternoon and relaxed in the hot tub in the evening. The cabin is very cozy and has a full kitchen with more utensils than you need. Hope and Eric are amazing hosts and good persons. They showed my children how to milk the cows and allowed them to help with collecting the eggs. They even provided us with fresh eggs, milk and dry firewood. We had friends visit us during our stay and they received a warm welcome as well. We will definitely be back!

My family rated this as a wonderful experience!
My family rated this as a wonderful experience! Mom, my sister and I were looking for a quiet, peaceful, country cabin to visit and share the celebration of my sister’s milestone birthday. Hope and Eric provided such a place—they are very accurate in their description of their creekside home. The cabin was very clean and filled with unique treasures to view and help us recall memories of life on our family farm. The arrival was interesting because the original directions brought us in on a road that was temporarily blocked by an accident, after we called Eric and explained our dilemma, he gave us alternate directions and offered to come meet us. We followed his instructions and he met us as we approached their lane! Thank you, Eric! The amenities were just as they promised. Farm fresh eggs we could fix in the morning, beautiful soft towels for showering in the cool brick-lined shower, laundry facilities which we utilized—all of it was appreciated. They communicated well and we enjoyed visiting with them at our arrival. The location is secluded, well-designed for privacy, and full of family activities (board games, wading in the creek, fishing, hiking, sleeping, visiting)… The experience was worth every penny and yes, we have already recommended it to friends and family!

Is it really time to leave?
This cabin was just what we needed to unwind. Hope and Eric have put together a gem of a place. They were so friendly, and the fresh milk and eggs were delicious. No TV or internet, and we didn’t miss either one. Got familiar with the hammock, and just took in the surroundings. We have stayed many places over the years, but I have never felt less like a renter and more like a friend anywhere else. They have paid so much attention to detail that made the cabin even more welcoming. If we ever get the opportunity, we want to come back. Be sure to say “Hi” to Iris!

Overall Best place we have found in a while
From the moment we arrived, you could tell this was a special place, when entering the cabin, there was a personalized welcome sign, fresh cut flowers, etc. We really needed a break from the city, and this was just what the doctor ordered. My husband brought his dad that we rarely get to spend time with, so we just enjoyed family. Also we have a 17 year old daughter that has started to drive and my husband and I got to just reconnect with her as well, played games (lots of them in cabin) late into the evening, something that never happens at home. The creek was just beautiful, listening to water run, fire ring was great. The most exciting thing are the hosts Hope and Eric, they include you in anything you want to do on the farm, we watched cow milking, and helped gather eggs from the hen house. (we also enjoyed eating and drinking these) Overall Best place we have found in a while, Thanks for sharing your piece of heaven on earth with us. The Boyer Family Fall Break 2016

We felt right at home the minute we arrived
This is such a special place with a very special couple. Everything was above and beyond our expectations. We felt right at home the minute we arrived. We have never stayed at a place that was all around comfortable and inviting. The only downside was that we couldn’t stay longer. We look forward to another trip in the future. Thank you, Hope and Eric for sharing this beautiful gem with us.

This was a great stay!
This was a great stay! Although we didn’t end up meeting Hope and Eric in person until we were ready to leave, their hospitality was evident throughout the weekend, from the hand-drawn welcome sign and fresh flowers to little touches around the cabin like the s’mores basket and lemonade mix, as well as texts to make sure we were warm enough and had everything we needed! The cabin itself is very charming, with vintage country memorabilia throughout and plenty of comforts like a heater in the bathroom and plenty of extra blankets. The country setting is beautiful as well and we really enjoyed exploring the creek, checking out the farm and playing with the farm dog, Cory. We loved the hot tub, hammock and games as well. If we had stayed longer I’m sure we would have made better use of more games as well as the fire pit. It is close enough to Branson that we drove in one night and caught dinner and a show. We would definitely love to stay again! P.s. if you are a “city slicker” like us you will probably be the slowest person driving down the windy country roads, especially at night but it is a beautiful drive by day!
Lisa
The cabin was beyond our expectations
Our stay at Eric and Hope’s guesthouse on their farm was beyond what we had anticipated. Awesome is the only word that we can describe our stay. Down to earth people with morales and values. We were treated as family. The cabin was beyond our expectations, and getting away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life was a breath of fresh air. The only downside to our stay was having to go back to reality. Thank you so much for sharing a piece of heaven on earth! We will be back soon. God bless. ‘

We had a lovely stay at the Creekside Cabin!
We had a lovely stay at the Creekside Cabin! The cabin was just as wonderful as it looks in the pictures and Hope & Eric went above and beyond in their thoughtful details and welcoming hospitality. We also loved all of the additional amenities that the cabin included: river, hottub, fire pit, hammock.. etc I can not reccommend this place enough and we hope to return in the future.

Thanks for a wonderful vacation!
A very enjoyable stay. Hope and Eric were shooting for offering an experience different from the normal condo experience around Branson and it really shows. Personal cabin touches in the design and the care taken in making my family and I feel welcome (They even threw in farm fresh eggs and milk) made this an excellent all around experience that I can’t wait to repeat! Even their pets know how to make you feel at home! Thanks for a wonderful vacation!
Buddy
The cabin was beautiful and welcoming.
Amazing……We drove all over Missouri and Arkansas but when we would get back to the cabin and soak in the riverbed all of those miles just drifted downstream. Hope thought of everything a guest could possibly need. The cabin was beautiful and welcoming. I highly suggest using the deep woods bug spray if you’re going to be outdoors.
Gabriela
Thanks again, Hope and Eric, for letting us share your wonderful property!
My husband and I stayed at this cabin for a short weekend honeymoon get-a-way near Branson and we absolutely loved this property! Easy drive to Branson and even though we spent most of the day in Branson we were always ready to get back to the cabin at a decent time to fish or hang out in the creek. The property all together is beautiful and it was nice to get away somewhere quiet. There was plenty to do there to keep from being bored and we didn’t even mess with most of it. Lots of board games, yard games, kayaks, etc. Hope and Eric gave us fresh farm eggs and milk…we had a couple of wonderful breakfasts, sitting out in the screened porch which faces the creek. I thought it was nice how Hope and Eric included things to suit different person’s tastes. For example: coffee- there was a regular coffee pot and ground coffee, or a french press and coffee beans you can grind up. There was a gas grill and a charcoal grill, or a fire pit for a bonfire to roast hot dogs and make s’mores (there is a complimentary s’more basket!). The cabin itself is awesome and we loved the homey feel it has. We hope to return in the future and bring our son with us- he would love the loft! Also, even though Hope and Eric’s house is up the road we still felt like we had privacy and it was a comfort knowing they were just up the road or a phone call away in case we had questions. Thanks again, Hope and Eric, for letting us share your wonderful property!

This was by far the best vacation my husband and I have ever had
This was by far the best vacation my husband and I have ever had! Hope and Eric are two of the nicest people and are wonderful hosts. They have created a beautiful and peaceful oasis on their farmstead. The cabin is not only cozy and charming, it is also fully equipped with anything and everything you could possibly want or need. They even gave us fresh milk and eggs. The kitchen has every tool and utensil that we needed and more. Their attention to detail is apparent everywhere you turn. Hope and Eric live close by on the property, but did not intrude on our privacy. They were available for any questions or requests and were happy to recommend local restaurants and give directions. We had no issues while we were there, but I have no doubt they would be on top of any requests. The farm is a beautiful place to just relax and watch the animals graze. The biggest decision of our day was whether to chill in the hammock or on the porch swing. The soothing sounds of the clear, rolling creek are just yards away. The bank of the creek is a great place to wade and cool your toes. If you are after entertainment, just a 30 minute drive will get you to Branson or Silver Dollar City. Personally, we were more interested in the happenings on the farm. Hope and Eric graciously indulged our requests to see and get involved with aspects of daily farm life. If that isn’t your thing, that’s fine, too! It’s an option that’s available. The only drawback to the trip was when we had to pack up and go back to our suburban daily grind.

Everything about this place and couple exceeded our expectations!
Everything about this place and couple exceeded our expectations! My wife and I spent a week at the cabin and it was the perfect getaway. Nothing will disappoint you. There was plenty to keep busy with on the land and in the cabin. Inside, there is a plethura of fun books to flip through and different games to enjoy. Outside, we enjoyed the river, kayaks, fire pit, croquet, and the hammock. Every part of the cabin is great to relax and enjoy. We ate multiple meals right on the front porch, but there was also the 3 season porch or comfortable rockers inside looking out the large front window. The amount of privacy was great, but Hope and Eric were still more than happy to show us the cows and chickens and give us a tour of the gardens. Anything we needed they were quick to assist us and always took extra steps to make sure we were comfortable. I have to mention, we were very excited about the fresh eggs and milk waiting for us when we arrived! I read all the great reviews before I booked our week and they all turned out 100% true. We can’t wait to visit Hope, Eric, and their farm again!

We had a wonderful time. The girls loved being in the loft. Amazing peaceful stay.
Hope and Eric were very nice. They let the girls watch milking the cows and get the chicken eggs. They loved getting the turkey egg. The cabin was amazing and peaceful. A great place for a vacation. Thank you for sharing your peace of heaven with us.

The farm offers something special for everyone!!
Eric and Hope are fantastic hosts! The cabin is cute, equipped with everything you could possibly need, it is very private and quiet. We loved being away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Even though you are out in the country, it is only a 10 minute drive to all kinds of restaurants and shopping. In 20 minutes you can be to most of the tourist attractions in Branson. The creek was a nice way to cool off on a hot day. We had fresh eggs and milk and all the makings for s’mores and a fire. Books, games, and magazines to keep us entertained for hours. Our granddaughter loved helping milk the cows and gathering the eggs. Eric and Hope explained everything about the animals and eagerly answered all of our questions about the farm. We ended up spending more time on the farm than we did in Branson. The only downfall is the farm is a 15 hour drive for us, we wish it were only a few hour drive so we could go back regularly.

I can't say enough nice things about these folks.
Hope and Eric accepted our last minute reservation — thank goodness. We had a really rough day of traveling the day before we stayed with them and wanted someplace peaceful to decompress and relax. We arrived at their cabin and they had everything ready plus a dozen fresh eggs from her chickens in the fridge. We didn’t get the opportunity to cook them, but it was such a nice thought. I can’t say enough nice things about these folks. They showed us how to operate everything and had great information about the house and contents. And the cabin was amazing! Everything so well thought out and planned in the cabin… from the amazing picture window overlooking the land (with binoculars placed nearby to observe wild life) to the screened in porch where you could here and see the creek. Everything was perfect! If you are looking for a place to relax and/or get your family reconnected, stay at Hope and Eric’s place. You will not be disappointed.

Perfect place to get away from it all and still have everything you need
We absolutely loved the cabin. They said they would have everything we would need and they were right! The few things I brought with me thinking I would need them were already there! They truly thought of everything! Eric and Hope are the perfect host and always willing to show us the workings of the farm and even let me son , 7 years old, pick vegetables, flowers, help collect the eggs and assist in the milking. The creek is beautiful and right out the side porch. My son had skinned his knee right before the trip and because of a doctor’s assessment he was not able to get it wet. I know he would have loved swimming. But that didn’t dampen our stay my son, husband and mother in law loved the fishing. I enjoyed watching my family smile, taking pictures and my personal favorite relaxing in the hammock! My son really got kick out of the loft. It’s the perfect bedroom for teens and kids. He also loved the farm cat, Thumbs, and the dog Cory. We can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful and serene!
Wow! Amazing place! So peaceful, calming, and relaxing! We loved the creek and the privacy! We loved the farm fresh eggs and the fresh whole milk. The great sounds of nature beats the city sounds all day long! It is a wonderful place and close enough to Forsythe and Branson for day trips or meals. Eric and Hope Thank you for opening up your farm to us! We recommend this place to anyone who wants to get away! Bryan and Rebecca Montgomery

What an amazing property
What an amazing property. The photos don’t do it justice. It’s a very secluded area that was quiet and restful. What the pictures don’t show is that the creek is only twenty yards from the screened-in porch. We were able to hear the water flowing for our entire stay. Hope and Eric were gracious hosts. They provided us the privacy that we desired, but were very attentive to any needs that we made known. They resupplied us with fresh linens, firewood and all we needed without being asked. They were very attentive to the one issue we had over the weekend. They fixed it immediately. The animals were very friendly even though the dog couldn’t hear too well. Hope and Eric provided us with opportunities to feed the calves and watch the adults being milked. We even got to collect eggs from the henhouse. It was a very entertaining experience. One comment that I have is that the upstairs sleeping loft is probably not meant for adults. The ceiling is pitched and only about three feet high at the top and about six inches high at the end of the beds. This wouldn’t be a big deal if you only intended to have kids sleep up there. The bathroom facilities were great. We were provided with more than enough towels and wash clothes. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the cooking and eating utensils one could imagine needing. There was first-aid equipment in the medicine cabinet in the bathroom. Overall, this was an excellent trip. We will be coming back because of the location and the warmth and attentiveness of the host. Thank you so much Hope and Eric. You made our stay one of the best family vacations that we have ever had.

Amazing!
We had a wonderful time at the guest house! The house was wonderful with many fun as well as practical details. The creek access was awesome and probably the highlight of our entire trip. We enjoyed lots of fishing, kiyaking, and swimming and then relaxed at night in the hot tub. We hope to come back soon!

What a great stay
We can’t express enough what a great stay we had. As the week went on, it became harder to leave for our planned day trips. In fact the last morning it was difficult knowing we were headed back to the responsibilities of home and work. Normally we don’t travel back to places we have been. There are so many places to see, so little time. However, we look forward to the opportunity to visit again. Thank you for being so welcoming!

A little slice of their heaven!
What an amazing weekend! I’m not sure that words can describe how lovely, cozy, well-appointed, and restorative this cabin and property are. I could have stayed forever! My two nights seems like seven, and I went home so very well rested. The sound of water rolling by, hammock, porch swing, screened in porch, cozy blankets for fireplace reading, lovely Christmas decorations, cozy bed, hot tub, and well-appointed kitchen were all just perfect. They even have house plants! Perhaps the highlights for me were the shower and the hosts themselves. That shower… Oh my gosh! Something just magical about that shower. Hope and Eric were lovely from the time of booking, for my late arrival, through my stay and after my departure. These are just two good souls. If you’re looking for a fun, relaxing place to get away from it all and be as active or inactive as you want and really let the stresses of everyday life soak away, this is your place. Don’t hesitate in allowing them to share a little slice of their heaven with you. You won’t regret it!

Beautiful, well maintained and well equipped secluded cabin within easy drive to Branson
This cabin felt like home. The Brights have created a relaxing and homey atmosphere with this cabin. We enjoyed all of the amenities of this property including relaxing by the creek, reading on the porch, ample yard, board, and card games, and getting to experience a little bit of life on the farm. We will definitely stay here again if in the area.

Great Hosts, Great Location, Great Vacation
We had a great experience and would recommend this property without reservation. We hope to return some time soon. The property was exactly as described. It was clean and comfortable. We packed too much as nearly everything we needed was provided. My wife was particularly happy with the well outfitted kitchen. We had fresh dairy milk and eggs and good coffee. Eric and Hope were great hosts. They are the kind of people you want for friends. When we arrived, they met us right away and showed us how everything worked. They were available if we needed them, but not invasive at all. All their recommendations were solid. There were about 30 games in the cabin and we enjoyed Settlers of Catan and Outburst. We also enjoyed roasting hot dogs, making smores, and kayaking down Swan Creek. The beds were comfortable. The local grocery store in Forsyth was more than adequate for our needs–they even had Blue Bell Ice Cream. Branson is beautiful 25 minute drive away and we spent one fun day there.

"Charming and relaxing"
Hope and Eric’s cabin is charming and relaxing. It is in a secluded location on their farm and is next to a creek that we could hear rushing by. The cabin was decorated for Christmas and since it rained the entire we were there we stayed in and relaxed by the fire and in the hot tub. We had everything we needed and Eric checked on us everyday. I received some much needed refreshment while I was there. It was a great experience. Thank you Hope and Eric for your warm hospitality and for mailing my makeup I left in such a timely manner. It was a blessing staying in your cabin. I am looking forward to our next visit!

An enjoyable getaway!
Hope and Eric got it right. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the evenings while still taking in some of what Branson has to offer. The setting is picture book worthy and was a walk back in time for a couple farm kids. Couldn’t ask for better hosts. And thumbs was a hoot!

Thanks Eric and Hope for the memories!
This property was beyond our expectations and we will be back.. Eric and Hope, the couple who own this property, go above and beyond to make sure your experience is perfect. They allowed us to bring in a blow up bed to accommodate an extra guest. Every detail of the cabin has been thoroughly thought of and provided. You want for nothing. The things we thought “Of I wish I would have brought…” was there. Spices in the kitchen, an extra toothbrush, toothpaste and floss in the medicine cabinet as well as band-aids! Everything you would expect from a home and more. It was clean, homey…and quiet. We sat on the screened in porch in the mornings and drank our morning coffee and listened to the creek. There is an enclosed outside shower with hot water that is amazing; a MUST during the stay! The creek was cold but it didn’t stop the kids from exploring and then they went down the path for fishing. If you sit on the other porch, you can look at the animals.. There is a hammock for two that is in a perfect spot. I read through several of the books in the cabin (about country living, small homes) and fell asleep in the breeze. Our twelve year old loved “Thumbs” the cat who fell asleep in his lap in the hammock. We also enjoyed the frequent visits from “Corey” the dog. The living room has a big picture window with wooden rocking chairs in which you can sit and look at the birds with the binoculars and identify the birds using the bird book… yes all provided on the window ledge for your use. As evening approached, we helped milk the cows, fed the baby calves with a bottle, and collect the eggs from the chickens and turkeys! This is optional, but why not help and experience it? The kids (and adults) loved it! After dark, we went to the fire ring for S mores (of course, provided again by the owners) and the evening ended in the hot tub. Our family ranged from 12 years old to 66 years old and we are look forward to booking again. Thanks Eric and Hope for the memories!
